In this double degree you will learn key concepts and theories in psychology and marketing and apply them to real-world situations. You will develop an advanced knowledge of the human brain and behaviour and acquire analytical methods to examine how culture, personality and lifestyle affect the behaviour of consumers.
The Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Science (Psychology) double degree is ideal for students who want to combine a career in law with a deeper understanding of human behaviour. In addition, this degree is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career in psychology in areas such as the criminal and justice systems.
The Bachelor of Advanced Science is designed for talented science students who seek a course which offers them the opportunity to develop their research and/or entrepreneurial skills from the first year of their course.
In the first year, students will complete the Engineering Foundation Year (EFY). The EFY builds a solid base of the fundamental concepts common to all areas of engineering and was developed in partnership with industry to create a curriculum that is reflective of engineering practice. The second year is common to all electrical and electronic engineering with specialisation units included in the final two years of the program.
The Bachelor of Educational Studies is designed for students who want to undertake studies in education but are not intending to seek registration as a qualified school teacher. This course provides exploration of core learning areas of the curriculum along with considerations for diverse needs within an education context.
The Animation and Game Design major allows students to specialise in the engaging area of visual narrative communication through the means of animation design and development, as well as game design and development.
