This internationally-accredited MBA is tailored to suit established professionals, particularly middle and senior managers.

The course combines current business theory, local and international perspectives and hands-on project work, and provides networking opportunities with industry.

You will create and critically evaluate innovative ideas and strategies within ambiguous and uncertain business environments.

You can opt to study the generalist MBA to gain a broad understanding, or choose to study one of the following majors and specialise in a specific area of interest:

The curriculum comprises eight core units and four optional units. Ten of these units can be studied online. You will also complete a professional portfolio, which involves a minimum of 40 hours of professional development.

In addition to completing the MBA components, you are also required to complete a Professional Portfolio (minimum of 40 hours of professional development).

*All students without a first degree in business/commerce are required to complete the four foundation MBA units. Students with a first degree in business/commerce may be eligible for a unit substitution for the foundation units with four additional optional MBA units.

2018 entry requirements for international students

A bachelor degree or equivalent, or our Graduate Certificate in Business, plus at least three years' relevant work experience. High performing applicants without an appropriate academic background may be admitted and required to complete bridging or special course units. This may extend the course duration.

Selection is based on a range of information including previous academic results, referee reports, relevance of work experience, career aspirations and test results and interview.

You will be required to submit supplementary information with your application, including your curriculum vitae (CV) and referee reports.

As proof of our commitment to providing you with a flexible study environment, we do not limit you to only enrolling at the start of an academic year for this course. An application to study can be lodged at any time throughout the year and successful applicants may commence studies in any of our trimesters – in January, May or September.
