In this course you will develop an understanding of organisation. It will develop your practical skills, allowing you to lead people effectively and realise your own potential.

Throughout the course you will apply, test and evaluate your analytical, leadership and management skills in the workplace. You will further your professional and personal development through action learning which is transferable to real organisations. You will explore the philosophy and ethics of leadership and cover a range of topics including working with teams, working in a global arena, effective and strategic management, organisational behaviour, transformative business development, human resource strategies and organisational change and development.

Credit for previous study

Applications for recognition of prior learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis. Applicants with a Curtin MBA will be eligible for 50 per cent recognition of prior learning towards their MBL.

Entry requirements:

A bachelor degree or equivalent, or our Graduate Certificate in Business with an average grade of 70% or better, plus at least three years' relevant work experience.

Selection is based on a range of information including previous academic results, referee reports, relevance of work experience and career aspirations.

You will be required to submit supplementary information with your application, including your curriculum vitae (CV) and referee reports.

You may be required to attend an interview as part of the application process.

Additional requirements:

Students with more than two failures or more than four units with grades below 60% will be excluded from the course so as to maintain the high standard expected of the prestigious qualification.
