This course builds on the curriculum of the postgraduate diploma, offering you the chance to undertake your own, individual research project or dissertation with the guidance of an experienced supervisor.

The course will further develop your ability to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate systems of healthcare delivery. It is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to hold senior management, administrative and planning positions within health service institutions.

The aim of this course is to develop the management and administrative skills of health and non-health professionals who are looking to move into a career in health services management. 

Credit for previous study

Applications for recognition of prior learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning may be awarded to applicants with the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Administration.
