Curtin’s Bachelor of Agribusiness enables you to develop a comprehensive understanding of agriculture and its operations, in combination with the business environment.
In the first year of the program, you will study a range of units focusing on science, communications and business management. In the second and third years, you will deepen your knowledge and application of agribusiness and its concepts by completing a combination of production and technology, and business and marketing units. Upon graduating, you will have an industry-ready understanding of the science and technology required for animal and plant production. You will have also developed important professional attributes, including the ability to understand, apply and communicate key principles and to think analytically and creatively.
As part of the course, you will undertake twelve weeks of professional practice with a range of relevant agribusinesses. You may also undertake field work or field visits to farms, marketing organisations and other off-farm ventures. These visits will give you valuable insights into the agribusiness industry.
High achieving students may complete an additional honours year enabling them to undertake their own significant research project.

Curtin’s Bachelor of Agribusiness is designed to provide career opportunities from farms through to the export and marketing of agri-products, as well as within the industries that service agriculture. STAT entry
The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) assesses competencies considered important for success at uni. These tests are provided by the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC) to help mature age candidates apply for certain courses.
