Course overview

The Bachelor of Engineering begins with an engineering pre-major, called the Engineering Foundation Year (EFY). The EFY builds a solid base of the fundamental concepts common to all areas of engineering, which allows you to explore your options before selecting an engineering major towards the end of your first year.

You will study in the EFY Studio, which reflects the layout of a modern office and will familiarise you with the style of a professional working environment.

Once you have completed the units that comprise the EFY, you will need to choose an engineering major.

The Bachelor of Engineering offers majors in:

Chemical Engineering

Civil and Construction Engineering

Computer Systems Engineering

Electrical Power Engineering

Electronic and Communication Engineering

Mechatronic Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Metallurgical Engineering

Mining Engineering

Petroleum Engineering
